If there's anything good about D3, it is the separated loot system that's it. ![]() (Game changing uniques/sets, lol) Pretty sure other classes have absurd cooldowns on their vital skills though. As an ex-Summoner Witch Doctor, I find it ridiculous that one of my minion summoning skill has a two minute cooldown which lasts for only 20 seconds unless you have the bonus from a certain set or an ultra-rare unique that reduces the cooldown remaining by 1 second per hit made by a particular minion. What's worse that the 'viable' builds for end-game contents (well, just rifts and greater rifts) absolutely require certain uniques and/or bonuses from full item sets to work at all. Removing trading? I'm fine with that since Auction Houses were a terrible failure but to remove them without implementing a guaranteed way to obtain certain rare or ultra-rar uniques shows the lack of foresight on the developers' part. Their implementation of 'un-avoidable damage' mechanisms onto elite affixes (in which some are literally unavoidable unless you hide behind a wall) where the damage scales a lot with difficulty is a plain lazy solution to the glass cannon problem.įor some reasons, Blizzard decides to be incredibly lazy and use 'Pets' instead of 'Minions' on description of affixes on certain uniques and gems, now every D3 player refers to any minions including sentries (the totems of D3) as 'pets', making many Witch Doctor players look like carebear idiots. D3 has its fanciful graphics but D3 uses only one core from your processor, gameplay with massive amounts of minions and huge explosions is like a slideshow regardless of how powerful your video card is. ![]()
